Amy began her career as a television reporter and news anchor in several Wisconsin markets, before heading to Minneapolis to be a news producer for a CBS-owned station. She then branched into public relations as a media spokesperson for Northwest Airlines. Amy launched her own marketing and public relations company, Spreeman Communications, in 1993.
